But...if you are not used to cold weather you won't last long so better go to Spain and vive la vida loca! :)
The problem is that if you go there...to that place...as a tourist you won't have the same health benefits...so you have to have tons of cash! AND if you die far away from family and friends...who is going to be there to carry you to the cemetery??? you're gonna have to pay for that too! (unless you have a super Health Insurance that will covers for this) plus...what about holding your hand and stuff like that???
And if the idea is precisely that...(to be all alone but have fun) and you were born in the USA...go to Florida, like some old people do!

The one to grow old in is the country where your health insurance is paid for, you have excellent retirement benefits, lots of activities to do, good friends around, and people who will look in on you if you're not well and who will help you do your errands if you're not able to do them yourself. I guess Canada would be the best bet. As for where to die, anywhere will do.

Probably Canada, though its a bit cold.
Definately not Spain though. It is currently being overrun by British pensioners and will probably be really expensive and hostile within a few years!
