Did something happen to your dog, that made him the way he is??There something going on inside your dogs head.Did you raise your dog from a pup?? If not, some wear down the line, this dog has been mentally or physically abuse and he would need a very strong trainer to handle your pet.He needs alot of love and understanding A.S.A.P.If this is not the case, you will still need to get a trainer, that will really work with him and praise your pet alot.. After the trainer has worked with your pet for several weeks, you need to start watching and learning how to control your dog and making him mind..I'm sure the trainer after completely the training will let you walk through the training with your dog..This will give you a feel and control of how the training workes...That way you can keep the training at all times...

Obedience school. Maybe he needs to be around more people (maybe with a muzzle). Was he abused as a pup? Some dogs have mental issues. My mom has a dog that was given to her and for some reason the dog did not like anyone except my mom. Until she got used to everyone else she would snap and growl and sometimes bite. We think she was abused before my mom got her and gave her a loving home.

They do make muzzles for dogs that do that, like so you can take em on a walk n stuff. Dont train him to stop attacking, just try to train him or being more selective. A dog like that can often help you out bigtime over a pet that licks everyones hand it sees.

LEASH THE PET... THEN> If he goes to lunge at someone, hold him back and pat his nose down, then aply muzzle (sounds harsh but he will learn). After he calms try taking off muzzle but leave him on the leash, perhaps after a while he will catch on that when he attacks or wants to, then the muzzle will come out?

You need to be able to show your dog that you are the boss and in control. Once he knows that he will listen to you and take cues from you as to how he acts around other people. Some ways to show that you are dominant (in dog language) are:
-using your hand as a mouth (in a claw shape) to grab your dog gently by the neck when he is bad and push him onto his side.
-laying on him, gently, when he is laying down and staying on him until he stops struggling
-grabbing him from behind (in a crouched position) under his arms, around his chest (sort of like if another dog was mounting him) and holding him there until he stops struggling.
-or, simply, hold him on his back (in a prone positition) until he stops struggling.
The more you do these things, the more he will realize that you are in control. When you are calm, he will be calm. If you freak out and get anxious because you automatically think that he will attack, then he will sense that negative feeling and will act on it. Be very aware of your behavior and attitude. If he acts aggressively toward another dog or human do the claw thing and push him to the ground. Do not yell. Just grab him and hold him down gently like another dog would do. The more you work with him like this, the better he will get.

Seek professional help. If he is dangerous that is the best place to start. They can give you personalized advise and training.
Some dogs are born crazy, just like people. This may not be something you can fix. Consult a professional and be prepared to put him down if that is what is called for. Better to be safe than sorry.

This is best left to professionals. There are several effective ways of training your companion to be a guard dog, but the methods can be tricky which is why we normally suggest you enroll them into a professional guard dog course, where they can learn how attach on command. This is also a very powerful weapon which should be used wisely.
