for example, lets say if from point a-b is bull and from point c-d is good then point e-f is crap.what program would i use to delete the excess video????

you can use windows movie maker to cut and re attatch some clips open your w.m.m and drop the movie on it atomaticly w.m.m will cut the movie in alot of clips you can delete what u dont want and then click on save the movie and it will be saved as u like it is like you r making your own movie

I have used Nero 7 Ultra Edition. It will allow you to edit video very easily. You can also burn to cd or DVD with this application.

if you don't have it, but you have windows xp, it'll work. if you don't have it, you can download it for free from microsoft.
