I'm a 43 year old female and lately I've been concerned that I'm showing signs of MS. I'm in the right age group and all that stuff. I'm really healthy otherwise. I take vitamins daily and don't drink or smoke. I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem with their toenails, or does anyone know if it's a sign of something more serious. God forbid, MS! Thanks for your input!

I don't know about MS, but if you're suddenly experiencing dizzyness you might want to get a check-up. And tell the doctor what you just told us. You might want to take a close look at your heart and blood pressure: Sometimes they show up in spite of people doing all the right things.

Good luck!

Why are you fixated on MS?

Are your fingernails okay? If there was some sort of systemic process, then I would expect the same thing to be happening to your fingernails also (first guess would be hypothyroidism--easily tested by your doctor). If it is just your toenails then my next question is if it is with both feet. If it is only one foot, I would want to rule out circulatory problems in that leg. If it is both feet, then I would guess it was something *you* were doing to them (for example, washing them too often).

Dizzy like vertigo? Or do you mean light-headed? If it feels like the room is spinning, that is usually an inner ear problem. If you feel light-headed like you are going to faint, the first thing a doctor would check would be your blood pressure and heart rate. If your heart rate is high and your blood pressure is too low, that means the heart is racing to provide blood to all the parts of your body, but is not able to do it. There are many possible causes of this. The simplest is probably dehydration. Other possible causes are that you are anemic (easily checked), you are having a medication side effect, or that you have something wrong with your heart (which can be checked relatively easily).

You'll get your best answer by seeing a doctor.

Actually, your mars is in scorpio, not libra. One thing is that your chart has Barely any harsh aspects. the only one is mars opposing moon, and that is both very wide and out of sign, so it's affects are very minimal. Someone with all harmonious aspects and no harsh ones have things that come easily. They have trouble with commitments and drive. You might just simply not put much effort into being responsible with people because you are used to people coming to you, or you are not familiar with putting effort into being consistent. Does this sound right? Also, your moon is in aries, and conjunct jupiter, which definitely makes for a charismatic type of person, but you are usually running off of quick impulse, which can be seen by others as being flighty, or running from one thing to the next without sticking to something. Having sun in sag also emphasizes these qualities. You are more of a free-spirited wanderer. You have a lot of inviting characteristics and can be charming, which for the most part can help to off-set flaky behaviors, or at least help people to forgive them.

How about seeing a doctor? I don't mean to be rude, but so many people waste time asking questions about important issues on this site, and many of the people who answer questions here are idiots. I would never trust these people's opinions. Seeing a doctor is the only sure way to find out what is the matter with you. I suggest going as soon as you can, since some diseases and problems are best cured or treated in the earliest stages. Good luck.

I'd make sure you have plenty of calcium. Flaky and yellow nails, teeth can be a sign of calcium deficiency. My father was like that many years ago and he started taking lots of B and Calcium and his nails became very healthy. You can take it via pill form or get it from milk. Sounds like your are nutritionally deficient. I would see your PCP especially if you are getting dizzy as well.

A thyroid problem could produce dizzyness and thin nails. If you have been feeling tired and 'different' you need to see a doctor. Good Luck
