That's like asking, "Can I go to a bar and worship God there?"

If you want beer, there are bars and grocery stores that sell it. Just make sure that you don't do something stupid like drinking and driving because you could kill someone by doing that.

If you are going to drink, it's better to buy it from the store and drink it at home and not go out.

By the way, for those who keep trying to insult Catholics, the question was stated, "should they serve beer IN CHURCH?" not "should they serve beer at social functions?"

In my over 12 years experience as a Catholic, the only drink I have seen people drink after Mass is coffee or some kind of non-alcoholic fruit punch drink.

You will find beer in the refrigerator at the house of some Catholics, but not served in or after Mass.

If you are a Christian, please stop bearing false witness against us Catholics. Thank you.

I went to Friday night services at a temple in San Francisco and after services they had kegs of beer (called He'Brew). That made my night!

haha.....well i guess it depends on what your religion is. They do at my church, but for some reason they call it a "bar." I guess they have to be PC.
