There are lots and lots of recipes for cakes of all kinds, probably thousands. Go to Google and type in a search for "recipes cake" and you will get many kinds of cake you can try. Or you can even just buy a cake mix, and just add the eggs and the oil, following the instructions on the box.

There are different types of cakes but the basic ingredients are flour, liquid, sugar, eggs and fats(oil, butter, margarine, etc.). The other ingredients which are important are baking powder/& or baking soda, salt, and sometimes cream of tartar. Procedure: Mix or sieve dry ingredients together, add the liquid (could be fruit juice, milk, etc.) eggs (either as whole or separated white from yolk) and mix thoroughly. Pour into the baking pan (greased or ungreased) and put(bake) inside the preheated oven at the desired temp. and time.
