Why do so many people jump to answer a question for the measly 2 points, knowing they have no idea what the answer is, and others come on to ridicule people for whatevever reason they choose -not agreeing, thinks person is stupid, just plain mean and hateful? I mean the points aren't worth a hill of beans, so what's the deal?

great point.... this is something that bothers many of us... if you don't have an answer - skip it, and if you have nothing good to say- say nothing.. obviously too much common sense for some people...lol...

Well wonder about that too, but I do zero in on the little 2 pointers when the question is going no where ,like the asker is doing it just to allow us to grab the points , but I hope I`ve not been rude or hateful to anyone, because this is such a nice way to socialize, and even learn new ideas etc.

For me, it satisfied my needs to tell people how to resolve their problems. I only flame those who ask incredible stupid or obnoxious questions. Overall, I think most people are polite, which is why I continue to do this. I'll lose my obsession and move onto something else eventually. No, the points aren't worth it, but that's not why I do it.

For fun. I love to read the questions and everyones answers. I get a new perspective occasionally and that to me is what its all about. Some interresting people here, and that makes me smile. Points. What points?

For me its not the points, its the 2 cents worth that I can give.
I dont ...well (try not to worry about) the sarcastic ones or bullsh*ters. I leave my fair share of worthless 2 cents..
