Ok, just go get them & then give them to some friends or friends of friends who will take care of them. But don't just set them free to die, because as it is they are at least alive & then you'd be the bad one, not her. So just ask around to friends to find out who will take a few each & find them new homes... or call the ASPCA on her ***!

dont let them go. if you do she can leagaly sue you. the law sees her as a "breader" and the birds her "property" and if you let the birds go its the same as destruction of property. like if you took her car and busted the windows. WHAT YOU SHOULD DO if YOU REALY WANT TO PISS HER OFF. first take pictures of the conditions that the birds are in and document that there is another cage that she does not use then call the epa. they will hit her with a fine that will be out of this world. SO HOW MUCH DO YOU WANT TO GET HER.

Okay, don't throw them into the wild. They wouldn't have the slightest idea how to take care of themselves. If you decide to give them away it would be best to pair them off to homes. If you just gave them away each one by itself it may have problems adapting to the new owners. And another thing all that mating isn't good for that female.Having babies takes a toll on a keet's body. You need to stop her from producing so much.Eventually it may kill her. It's just like a human woman, having babies back to back will take a toll on our4 bodies.Anyways, however you do it,those birds DO NOT need to be with her if that's how she's going to treat them.If I were a keet would not want to spend 15 years with a owner like that.I think I'd take myself out.Oh yeah you know keets can live up to 15 years or longer with the proper care. Please try your hardest to get those keets to a good home.

TELL YOUR MOTHER THAT SHE NEEDS TO LEARN TO CARE FOR HER PETS. A 12X12 cage is not big enough for ONE parakeet. Please give these birds to a good home. DO NOT LET THEM GO!!! Birds do not survive long in the wild when let go. They will suffer a long painful death if you let them go. Please place them in a good home or learn to care for them right. Go to www.tailfeathers.com. It is a very nice messege board that can help you a lot. There are lots of knoledgable people who can help you.

Don't take your anger out on the poor birds and let them out. Maybe build a bigger cage for them (I know that is probably the last thing you want to do for her, but it's for the birds, not her).

Call your local ASPCA, make a formal complaint about their living conditions..and her over breeding.
take pictures, and write down everything that you do to help, and everything she does after you try to help.
also .....she's your step mom...so where the heck is your dad?? why don't you tell him why you are so upset with her, perhaps if you were honest about what she is saying or doing...he'll put his foot down.
if not..id sick with filing a complaint against her, don't take it out on the poor birds its not their fault.
good luck

Please don't put them in harm's way by throwing them out into the desert. Contact your local animal shelter and they will pick them up. The poor INNOCENT birds will be adopted by someone who wants to take care of them.
