Very easily!!! People you don't know and don't care about would have a harder time causing you any hurt. By opening yourself up to someone by giving your love, you also open yourself up to the biggest hurts. Things that you perceive as a disloyalty by this person is magnified in importance just because you did lay yourself open to this person. Oh yes, you can definitely be hurt by someone who loves you!!!

Oh yes, very much. The more they love you, the more intense the feelings are. So the more they love you, the more vulnerable they are to feel such hurt.
