The eldest son of Noah, from whom the Jews, as well as the Semitic ("Shemitic") nations in general have descended. When giving the names of Noah's three sons, Shem is always mentioned first (Gen 9:18; Gen 10:1, etc.); and though "the elder" in "Shem the brother of Japheth the elder" (Gen 10:21 margin) is explained as referring to Shem, this is not the rendering of Onkelos. His five sons peopled the greater part of West Asia's finest tracts, from Elam on the East to the Mediterranean on the West.
Dude, this is pretty much all that is said about this some and is the only reference of Asia; when concerning Noah's chrilden.

The guys that I have read up on say that Ham was the father of the Asians, Pacific islanders, and most of the native American cultures. Shem was the father of the Jews and for that matter the nation of Islam. Japeth was the father of the "anglo-saxons" and African tribes. They've done all kinds of research but I don't know how they came to those conclusions or if they are valid. It's plausible thought.
I suppose it's possible that Noah and his wife had another son after the flood that the Bible doesn't mention, but the Bible does say that through Ham, Shem, and Japeth the earth was replenished--so if they did have another son he didn't father any children.

Is there any reason this may matter apart from Christian identity motives or similar? Do you've self assurance that the descendants of different sons of Noah have a diverse destiny now and in the destiny? besides, races have lengthy been shown to be cultural homes. There are not any easily seperations between the races. there is not any racial blending because no one is racially organic. the conception of Shemites, Hamites and Japhetites is previous. Clinging on to it does no longer reflect nicely.

I don't know, but I had been Noah, Mrs Noah would have had some questions to answer. A n African, an Asian, and a European, I think I would be talking to the milkman, the postman, and the paperboy too.

"Shem was the progenitor of the south-western nations of Asia, being the father of Elam (Persia), Ashur (Assyria), Arpachshad or Arpachaxad (according to Josephus, Chaldea), from whom descended the Hebrews and Arabs, Lud (Lydia) and Aram (Syria)."
