I don't own a cell phone. But, I would not talk on the phone while driving. I would say most of the time I see someone making dangerous maneuvers on the road, they are on a cell phone (my own observation).

I rarely talk on my cell phone it is very dangerous especially some of these people that have it permanently sealed to their face. Just to answer with I'll call you back is all I've ever done. It is irritating when I see people carrying on lengthy conversations and not paying attention to their driving. I drive in California and the roads are scary enough without people weaving and giggling on their cell phones. Today the light turned green and the lady just sat there chatting....there were 30 people behind her trying to get to work on time....aughhhhh

I use a head set and talk only briefly if at all. Don't forget to mention the people who are eating, drinking, drying their nails, doing their make up, putting on panty hose, smoke, yep, saw all of that just since Monday.

I must confess that I talk while I'm driving. I have a hands free device that I use though.
