I don't care if you're orange, green, pink or purple. Jerk Offs come in all colors.

All races are discriminated against in some way or another, even the white race.
You need to understand, the reverse discrimination exists to make up for all the injustices in the past that held people back just because of the color of their skin. Is it fair to whites now? Not really, but there has to be a change somewhere right?
Years ago when I was wanting to go to college, if I'd been anything other than white, I would have had entrance into most any college with a free ride to boot. Am I bitter about that? No way. I understood it then and I understand it today.
The problem is when you give jobs or educations to people who take advantage of it. That, I can't stand.

there is extra too it than that. Racism adverse to minorities become institutionalized through the gov't. there have been racist regulations, jobs were prohibited to them, etc. So putting out in the overdue 60s the pendulum swung the different route. rather of being impartial, the gov't all started instituting options for minorities. Being a minority gave you a leg up on jobs and an coaching, over a white individual with the very same skills, or maybe more advantageous skills. that's Affirmative action, and that is opposite racism. it really is "opposite racism" because the racist regulations were reversed as to who they be conscious to. What you're describing is not any racism.

Yes reverse racism does exist, I am black & constantly find myself pulling up friends or some family members for doing so. whether it against white, red or yellow ( no offense anyone). BUt I have 1 question, why the reference to Rev. Al? Is it only black people who cry racism? I am pretty sure that there are wide variety, who as you guys put it, play the race card. And Mekayla, if you took the time to find out the real meaning of Black History month you won't scoff at it.

I can see your point. I don't think it's reversing - I may piss some people off here, but I do feel the people saying we as white's are racist are racist against us. I do agree if that was happening to them - they would insue a rally. Do we have WHITE PEOPLE HISTORY MONTH?? God know - they would have a FIT!
I do believe our ancestors did oppress - but I haven't ever oppressed, so why blame me and my race now? Get pissed off at the people who wrong you, not me!! Do good for yourself. I got where I am out of hard work. Women are oppressed you don't hear us all the time BI**** about it...I mean we do have women lib, but still............... We will NEVER make more than men make....because men got a head start years ago!
Get up and do the best you can with your life and quit spending it being mad at us!
I am off my soap box...sorry : )

Reverse racism exists too, of course. And it's just as bad as white people hating black ones. The only difference is that black people are not in control of society, just as white people are. So when the white discriminate, they do so with all the power of the states (or private companies) behind their backs. When a black person discriminates, that is usually an individual action, which is also bad, and reprehensible, but not quite as potentially dangerous.

The term reverse racism is a nonexistent term that was coined by liberals to sugar coat the cold hard facts. Racism is racism there is no such thing as reverse racism. Black comics who constantly bash on white people is not an example of reverse racism; it is a cold, hard, absoulute example of:
rac·ism
Pronunciation: 'rA-"si-z&m also -"shi-
Function: noun
1 : a belief that race is the primary determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race
2 : racial prejudice or discrimination

I totally agree with you. There are groups for every type of person, such as school groups: ie: black students, jewish students, GLBT students, etc... but if there were a group for white students that would be considered racist. I am all for the above groups mentioned and all, but I feel that there is a general attitude in society that it is politically incorrect to have any associations specifically for white people. I don't complain that I can't join other groups, after all, I don't belong in the other groups. I am a minority as a white person in my neighborhood. English IS the second language in my neighborhood...in stores, on signs, etc. I definitely understand what you are saying. I am expected to learn spanish to get groceries or order a salad...it's kind of weird but I don't make a big deal of it...but I get looks based on the color of my skin in my city.

Personally I think it's karma. Karma is a ***** and when you do evil things to people it comes back to bite you in the ***! I'm black and I'm proud of that. I don't necessarily agree with black people blaming whites for the past, but they can blame white people for what they do in the here and now. It's all about how you think, blacks were brought up with an oppressed mind set. At a young age blacks are taught to kiss white ***. I think a lot of times whites say certain things about situations they will never in their life understand. Like the comment made about the NAACP. Do you see any white organizations giving black kids money to go to school...HELL NO!!! So that young man is just getting what his white society put out there for him which is NOTHING. White people burned bridges with black folks a long time ago and now they are just getting what they deserve. In my opinion, a lot of white people judge strong black people, they don't know how to deal with us. Maybe our next president will be black and then some things will really start to change. It doesn't matter whose president, as long as dumb *** Bush is out!! LOL...

Yep. It is "paying for the sins of our father"! I hate it, but we can work through it. We don't have to deal with lynchings, or profiling, or all the negative stereotyping of being LESS intelligent based on skin color.
Most WHITES are not prejudiced. , but reverse racism has to happen to balance injustice that has come before our generation. We can handle it. Our place right now is to be the scapegoat sometimes. Just live accordingly to strong beliefs of "all men(humans) are created equal. "

I thought racism is racism. What is reverse racism. By reverse racism are you implying racism is what white ppl do to black and the reverse is reverse racism. I'm glad you accept all white are racists. Wht don't like the taste of your own medicine. Chin up girl a little bit of work discrimination does not by anymeans make up for centuries of killing, exploiting, slavery.
