You ask quite a noble question for such a young person your age. First thing that you must bear in mind is NOT to be TOO HARSH on yourself. And one way to do that, in addition to asking for forgiveness from those whom you have wronged, is to learn to FORGIVE YOURSELF, too.

I'll bet that you haven't even committed more than half[!] of the Ten Commandments at such an age, when you really break it all down. True? Well, that's only an educated guess on my part... But in any case, make sure that you have righted all the wrongs, and if you still haven't, then you ought to do that soon.

Remember that God will always forgive you especially when you demonstrate your sincere repentance and, based on your future actions, you will no longer do the same mistakes again. Be assured that rather than giving up on you, God will always LOVE you provided you persevere in following The Law.

Begin by obeying the first two GREATEST commandments given by Jesus Christ and you will be well on your way to answering your own question.

They are: [1] Love God with all your heart, all your strength and all your breath; and [2] Love your neighbor as you love yourself...

Always keep the Faith. And Peace be with you!

God will always love and forgive you and at 16 I am sure you haven`t been that much of a sinner. You can live your life for god by being a good person and always doing things that will not hurt others. You can do voluntary work or if you wish 100% devotion join a convent but you will need to think long and hard about this. Dont do it on a whim it is not for everyone. Love and forgive yourself first.

First you will have to forgive yourself. Are you really turning things over to God? Let go of everything and give it all to God. God forgives us of our sins. If we continually sin and purposely sin, God might turn his head when we ask for forgiveness. Speaking for myself, this is something I would not want to take a chance on.

Jesus answered "70 times 7" when one of the disciples asked how many time should I forgive someone. If Jesus said it wouldn't he hold to the same standard if not more so? You need to forgive yourself. But the key is to REPENT or turn away from your sins. Don't keep doing them. Forgivness is not a blank check to keep sinning. We all fall short everyday.
God will never give up on you if you earnestly seek him.

One day, Peter asked Jesus how many times we must forgive. Peter asked Jesus if seven times would be enough. Jesus said no, but seventy times seven. God's mercy is infinite. In fact, He throws all of your past deeds in the sea of forgetfulness. This means that God the Father chooses to forget your past sins when you ask for forgiveness. He never gives up on you. He sent his son to die so that the sinless blood of Jesus could wash away all of your sins. Just ask for forgiveness or in other words repent for your sins. God is not a Zeus -like character with a thunderbolt waiting to strike you. He is a loving caring Father. BE encouraged sister in Christ. You are on the right track. He will never leave you.

My friend--I have struggled with this very issue. Satan knows that--and constantly tormented me with every little thing I'd ever done wrong. It kept me up at night. I finally went to my Pastor and told him what I was experiencing.

I thought I was experiencing "conviction"--God bringing things to my mind so I could repent. My pastor explained that I was not being convicted--I was a victim of Satan's "condemnation". That is where he brings up forgiven sins, unresolved issues, etc. only to torment you. This is NOT of God.

God loves you dearly. He says that your sins are removed from you "as far as the east is from the west." (Psalm 103:12) He has not forsaken you, my friend! Take hope! He will never give up on you, and you can NEVER sin too much!

Your Sister in Christ,
Kas

We are God's creations. Respect others in the same way. Those who lack this wisdom is the cause of all problems we see in the world today.

Trust in Him and He will guide you further. If you truly confess, He will forgive your sins whatsoever. The sign of true confession is the peace of mind you attain and the strength to refrain from doing the same sin again.

IM PROUD OF YOU TO COME ON HERE AND TELL US ALL THAT YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR LIFE TO CHRIST....
U GO GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!
here is one thing u r doing wrong ( i am not being mean..please dont think that..i do things wrong and I have been christian for 12 yrs...but no ONE is perfect...except Jesus Christ)
When you pray and ask for forgivness....believe that he has forgiving you...ok it states that in the bible. Have faith in your self & in him...
Another thing,,,,GOD NEVER GIVES UP ON US.....WE GIVE UP ON HIM OR WE MAY GO ASTRAY (doing things wrong..or we think they r wrong)
That is called "CONVICTION" and thats a good thing...we stay on top that way so we wont go astray.
Sweetie, at your age...its hard for you, pure pressure, boys (not men) alot of things u will go through....one things forsure...GOD is always there for u!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
God gave you life to live for him, he died for our sins, DO NOT FOLLOW THE WAYS OF THE WORLD....now thats hard to do...but if you are this strong to come on here and ask this question...then you will become even stronger...God will see to it.
Get into a good church, read the Bible eveyday...you will be just fine.
If you need any help...please email me....sunsdancing@yahoo.com
But the best help you will get....is from God.
God Bless you so much,,,keep up the good work,.
Rachel

You need to pray to God for forgiveness with a humble heart and tell himhow you feel, ask him this question and whato do to plese him if you really do want to please him you have to mean it and believe that he is the hearer of prayer and that he will answer because if you don't believe that then there is no point in praying is there You also need to give him the chance to forgive you not to decide that he hasn't forgiven you!
