To Heaven? If Hell is ok for all the evil people, then Heaven would surely be Hell to them since they'd be surrounded by goody two shoes religious people, so you'd say go to Heaven... which is basically saying go to Hell, does that make sense? It does to me but I'm the one saying it.

Wildhair is wrong about Purgatory. Purgatory is temporary, and anyone who is in Purgatory is going to go eventually to Heaven.
The word Purgatory comes from the word "purge". It says in the bible that nothing unclean can enter into Heaven. Purgatory is for cleansing (purging) us of whatever stain and attachment to sin we may have died with. It's for people who did not live a sinless life but who are not bad enough to go to Hell.
By the way, about the Protestant argument against Purgatory where they say, "What about the good thief?". The good thief suffered his purgation while he was on the cross. It is possible that our suffering here on earth can take the place of some or all of whatever we would have had to go through in Purgatory to enter into Heaven.
Purgatory is a gift of mercy from God to us.

hahahaha, very smart thinking. well the correct answer to this can be given by a resident of hell. In fact there would be some good areas and bad areas in hell too. maybe an area of extreme heat and a area of heat and stench. so u can ask that guy to go there

When in hell you are alone. There is nobody. It is nothing but darkness and nothing else. You are alone, and will be alone for eternity. Your soul still exists. You cannot touch, smell, or hear. You can feel nothing but horror and sadness. You have nobody to go to, too care for you. Your own your own.
