it can take up to 10 days if they are shipping parcel post not including weekends. it also depends on how far away you live ..... plus most people do not ship every day... you can always ask them when the item was shipped so you have a better idea when to expect it...but I usually give it up to 2 weeks ...with communication in between.

Depends on the distance being shipped, by what means, the value of the object and it's ability to pass through customs. When I had something shipped to Aus from Canada (Ebay purchase), it took 2 & 1/2 months, versus a package I ordered from a local business that took 2 hours by messenger. I asked someone to get me a coffee once, from the machine 10 meters away, and didn't get it for hours, and I've been involved in situations where customs seized shipped contents because the shipping company was a known trafficker of illegal products, and I didn't see my clothes for what seemed like forever, even though I was only having them sent from Bali.
The key regarding shipping arrangements is to stay in regular contact with the seller, assume it is innocent unless you have proof, and if you want more security for you package use a third party exchange so they don't get your money till you get your purchase (widely accepted on Ebay)

They should ship in 2-3 days, unless they have specified in their auction "takes a week". If you haven't heard from them in 3 days, get them on the phone! Find out why!! Good Luck!

the problem isnt when they ship it but how long the post office takes to deliver it. If you dont get shipping that includes a tracking number the post office may never get it to you.
I once mailed an item to a person who lived in the same city.
the post office finally delivered it three months later
