As a 33 yo tall guy, is it OK to ask a cute sales girl assistant out for a coffee after I have purchased something? should I give her my business card, or is that rude or annoying?

It's not rude if she likes you. It is annoying if she doesn't.
I've heard from friends in retail that they get hit on all the time.
Maybe you want to acknowlege that when you ask her, but tell her you didn't want to make assumptions so you are giving her the opportunity to respond to you.

Go back to the store a few more times before asking her out....she might get a little freaked out if you don't. Chat with her, then when the time is right ask if she wants to meet somewhere public for a drink or dinner (not coffee lol). Offer to arrive in separate cars...anything to make her feel more comfy with it all. This happened to me a long time ago....the guy played his cards right and took it slow. Yep, I met for coffee after work. Good luck!!!

I would get chatty with her first. Talk to her for a few weeks. Find out about her from her. Give her the opportunity to ask you questions about yourself. Then when the time is right, you will feel comfortable asking her out for coffee. You wont need to come here and ask that question, you will know it is okay to do it.

i can't see anything wrong with that, if she's cute, go for it, i would love to be asked out by a hot guy like that, but NO business card, it makes you seem up yourself. just make sure she isn't taken already, because that would just be awkward, and don't ask her in front of a huge line of waiting customers, you will look like a fool.
