Accept them as friends. Ask God for wisdom on how to witness. God loves them unconditionally but He doesn't approve their choice of lifestyle.

With everything else that's going on in the world, why would God make love wrong? He wouldn't.
Ask the people who tell you you can't hang out with lesbians and gays if they practice everything in the Old Testament, which is where this stuff comes from. They'll tell you they don't. They'll have to say that unless they practice animal sacrifice and the like. Ask them if they tithe (give 10%) from all their streams of income--work, investments, house sales. They'll tell you no, and I'd be surprised if they tithe at all. It's hypocritical.
People use the Bible and God as a weapon against other people when they are ignorant, or just following what their minister told them. Read and study for yourself. Decide if you want to be the child of a loving King or the child of a punishing tyrant.

Who did Jesus hang out with?
The people all the "proper" folks of his time disdained, the tax collectors, the lepers, the prostitutes, the sick and weak.
When asked why, he said the rest of his flock was safe, these were the lost sheep that needed his help.
Jesus did not turn anyone away because of their way of life,
remember when the villagers were going to stone the woman who committed adultery to death?
Jesus appeared on the scene, and told them, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. One by one they layed down their stones and walked away, because they saw the truth in what he said.
Even if you do not agree with their lifestyle anymore since you became a Christian, you can still be friends with them and love and support them.
Jesus said the greatest thing is love and God is love.
We are not the judge of their lifestyle, God is, so it is not for us to say whether it is right or wrong.
Whatever you think, if you were friends with them before, there is no reason not to be friends with them now, I don't think that would be what Jesus would have done, and by loving them and being supportive, you may give them faith.

Love the sinners hate the sins;
Ro 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Ro 1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet.

Their are sects of Christianity that are ok with homosexuality, but not many. Your friends will not be welcomed into most churches, so you just have to decide how that makes you feel. This is pretty much why I left the church. My best guy friend in high school came out and everyone was like, well you can't be friends with him. I was like, um, yes I can. Buh bye.

The Bible is the word of God, written by men who witnessed his being. There are several places in the bible where it is sited you should not do things to cause you to turn from God's love. Idols, annal sex or same sex living. It is clearly stated in the bible "One Man and One woman" . If you choose be friends with them, its your choice. Society does not accept Gays & Lesbians based on the societies religious beliefs. The choice is yours, but step carefully.

Welcome to the family! You can be friends with them, just don't go down that path that they're on. Revelation 21:8 says that there's no place in the New Jerusalem for "the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters, and all liars". They will be in hell for eternity. Just keep praying for them, and definitely keep trying to reach them for the Lord. There's nothing wrong with being friends with them. Love the sinner, not the sin.

If you can tell me where it says God does not love and except gay people ?
God loves everyone and everyone should love and except each other
We are not all the same or should we have the same beliefs.
What does it really matter what people's sexual preference is as long as they are a loving caring person that is what counts.
Love & Blessings

The bible says homosexuals will not inherit the kingdom of God.
I do agree with the people above that say God loves them with an everlasting love however he does not like the sin they are in. A door is opened for you to witness to them. Pray for wisdom.

Jesus talked and ministered to prositiutes, tax collectors, the lame, the deaf, the dumb, and the blind. You are to love all and curse none. Do not let their beliefs affect yours. Be their friend but do not compromise your christianity. As you grow in Christ many of them will see the light and come out of thier darkness. I speak to you as the child of a former lesbian. She has now recanted that lifestyle and so has her former mate. as a believer, you now have the power to speak to situations. Pray for them as well. Prayer always changes things.
