First, Your statement that Jesus had no knowledge of the part of the world that we now know as the USA, is incorrect. John 1:3 says "Through him all things were made; without him, nothing was made that has been made". So Jesus was there at the creation of the universe. As far as when he blesses the USA. Second, I think it is important to point out that he blesses other people as well.
Third, Sometimes we look for his blessings in the form of the sea parting or earthquakes etc. I think someone here mentioned hurricanes. But in the bible we see that some of Gods blessings are much more subtle and personal. For example:In Daniel 1:9 God caused an official to "show favor and sympathy to Daniel". In the new testament a well known example was when Joseph did not cast out Mary for being pregnant.
I think the root of the misunderstanding here may be that people are confused about who serves who. We all want God to alter his plan for us, but we don't really want to alter our plans for him. In other words we want him to serve us. If we don't get our way then we say he diesn't exist of doesn't care. We ignore all the blessings he has already given us and refuse to see those that he gives us today. We need to remember that when he answers our prayers, sometimes the answer is "NO". When Jesus prayed "father may this cup be taken from me" the asnwer was "NO". Are any of us more deserving than Christ? Why should we be surprised if God's answer to us is "no"? The whole worlds blessings are everywhere. You have to learn to see them. Be thankful for what you have already received and for the sacrifice he made for you.

Since God created the land which later became the USA prior to Jesus' walking the earth, then it's been blessed in a number of ways ever since creation.
Are you actually suggesting that God did not exist prior to Jesus' "walking on the earth"?
If God chooses to bless the USA each day in a number of ways, what does this have to do with two thousand or five hundred years ago?

I think Jesus did have knowledge of the USA during his time. He is God's Son and he is God. God is all knowing.
God blesses America every day. I was blessed with being able to drive to and from work in peace. I was blessed with having enough to eat today and everyday of my life. I was blessed with having a free will to do as I please. When we say God bless the USA, we are saying "may God bless the USA if it be His will". We just don't say all the words. Unfortunately, many of us don't remember much about God blessings in our daily life. Thanks for reminding me.
By the way, bad things happen, too, but we are still a blessed nation. We have to live life as it happens, take the punches and blows just like everyone else.
And one more thing, God is not only blessing the people in the USA. He is blessing people in every nation. Some blessing are not material and those blessings are even more valuable to those to whom they are hard to come by.

all the earth is gods earth. god has given the usa plenty of food and clean water. as far as morals it is something our government lacks as well as the majority of the people. how ever there are still some good people here. i think god blessed muslims more considering they were blessed with oil where the west goes and hi jacks it from them. if the east was intellegent enough to make weapons they would not have to suffer while they get killed for their assets.

America wasn't "found" on 1492, as the Native Americans have been living here for thousands of years, and it's thought that the vikings even landed here before that. 1492 just marks the time when the Native Americans were enslaved, killed, beaten, raped, robbed, had Christianity forced upon them, had foreign diseases introduced to them, and had their land and rights taken away by white Europeans.

Many people assume the USA was blessed because we have such an easy life here compared to many places. I have wondered the same thing though. How do we know we are blessed when we have so much more temptation that others might?

On the same day he blessed you, He is all seeing, and knowing, and he gave you the opportunity to have knowledge.but you have forgotten what God and Jesus is about. Jesus and God still walks on this earth, In the hearts and minds of us who believes. I'm sorry that you don't. But I will see you in heaven. My Friend!

I think the phrase "God bless" is asking for god's blessings in the future not stating whatever blessings we do or don't have at present. What each person views as a blessing is totally relative.
