Just be patient, and show him your different that your always there and won't break his heart. Or follow your heart age doesn't matter love is.

Honey,

Where do I start I would just stick to someone your own age. let me tell you why he is probably in college already and you are still in High School I am assuming. I married my boyfriend and I am now divorced. If I can turn back time I would have never got with him. He had a different way of thinking. It's Like he has already been there done that. You know !!! Don't try to hard because you will not be a challenge to him !! That is exactly what I did with Rick I wanted him because he was alot older and I thought I looked really cool to be with an older boyfriend. Little did I know that while I had a curfew he didn't and he had plenty of other girls waiting for him while I was sleeoing, again this was back when I was in High School. The other thing is when you bring him around your friends they will have nothing in common because of the age difference. Then you will start to see your friends drift away. So that means that he can control you a little bit better also you will stay without friends. Like I did. I would drop him I regret that I married him.

First of all, you need to be aware that in many states, he could go to jail if he were to get sexually involved with you. That could explain some of his reluctance.

You need to let relationships develop of their own accord. Age is not a biggie, provided it is LEGAL.

One of the biggest mistakes young people make is to chase a relationship. Those types just don't last. The ones that last are those that develop over a period of time, with the two people learning about the other person and what they have in common and can give to the other.

Take your time. Don't chase. Let a relationship come to you. Make sure you're not putting someone in a position where he could go to prison because of you. ("Long distance" relationships don't work.)

First of all you shouldn't be dating someone who is considered an adult. You are too young to be dating someone who is 20 years old. And if by chance something should happen and you two get intimate, there could be some serious legal consequences for him. Find someone within your age range and stay away from adults until you become one, then age doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned.

you are still to young to show your love in that sorrt of a way...but the little things mean the most and keep your relationship strong. Leave a note on his car...supurise him...teach him how to do something and help him reach his goals...be there all the time and always be you and true don't get in a mood because he had a bad day.

You need to be very careful, and he sounds like he is manipulating you with a bunch of crap. Listen to yourself, why do you have to show him anything about caring, what has he done for you. Sounds like he is using the pity act for your affection and who knows what else, DUMP HIM, keep with people your own age for now, you really dont need this. Stop talking to him.

legally your too young. Why don't you wait till you know what it is you want from a partner and how a partner should behave. At 16 you don't know and are Susceptible to manipulative behavior. And don't be sexual with him either for God's sake

Honestly, find a 16-year-old version of him and show this new guy how much you care.
