all of us who may be Afraid to DIE...are certainly afraid of LIVING!!!!
There really is Only ONE thing that Really matters---in my opinion---Is NOW!!!
Forgive yourself for yesterday---Look Forward to Tomorrow...and!!!
ENjoy TODAY...NOW:)

Born and raised a Catholic. Questioned the Bible all my life -- lots of trouble with the nuns.

Course, being caughet reading "The Reincarnation Of Peter Proud" in 5th grade caused serious problems with the nuns! I tended toward the reincarnation belief .. but not as the Hindu's, but rather as wherever 'that energy is needed'. Have finally come to terms with my personal reality that there is 'One True Divine', known by many names and faces. And, like all good managers ... The Divine has delegated cerain functions and responsibilities to others in the Divine Circle.

Since I beleive that The Divine has inspired man's insights, he/she/it has inspired Science. And, since Science postulates that energy is constant ( that it can neither be created nor destroyed), that the energy that is known as life, as it emits a life force, cannot be destroyed.

Holding a FIRM belief in a Divine Creator, and a wholesome faith in Science ... and the many postulates of both ... there must be some sort of afterlife. Do I think it's in the clouds with winged Angels? Although the image is lovely, no I do not think that is our afterlife. Rather, I believe that ... as any great manager would ... the destination of the energy at life's end will be distributed where it is most needed.

Life Force is all around us. It is the essence of all that is, or has been alive ... science proves this though a myriad of testing. In summary ... believe what you will. Yet recognize that our infatnile Scientic methodology proves that we don't YET have a clue about what is or what is yet to come.

My sense is that we should all ACT like there is a God out there, ready to judge our actions, so that we will be the best Humans possible. What comes afterward ... who knows? But, on your death-bed, you'll take solace in knowing that you were the best that you could have been!!!

If you want a funny and thought-provoking look on this, I suggest going to Best Buy and picking up a box set of a now-cancelled Showtime series called Dead Like Me. The show features an 18 year old girl who hates her life, is killed and becomes a grim reaper(not the one with the cloak) who still looks the same and acts the same, but her attitude can be a handful for her boss and friend (Mandy Patinkin) and several of her co-reaper/friends as she is adjusting to the afterlife.

Very interesting outlook on "afterlife."

Yes. Depends on how you live your life, you could spend your afterlife in Heaven or Hell. You die but your spirit goes to Heaven, if you haved lived a good christian life. Or you could spend your afterlife in hell, burning forever, for your sins. And answering to the Devil himself.

You die, and there's an afterlife. Both are true.

There's an afterlife, because I believe our existence would have been purposeless if there's nothing beyond death.

If there was no afterlife why did God the father sent his only begotten son to die on the cross......................?? Jesus died so that you could go to heaven and have everlasting life..........Just accept his death on the cross......................For God so loved the word that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believes on Him shall have everlasting life.........John 3:16
