My current gf hates my old gf cuz she cheated on me and left me. my old gf (whom i rarely ever talk to) decided to text me and let me know she is moving away to pursue a career. My gf has told me not to mention her, but i tell her everyting, and since old gf is moving away, i told her. She got super pissed. Is she just venting or does she have a real reason to be so pissed? Should i tell old gf not to contact me anymore? How should i handle this situation? its the first time shes been upset with me about anything...

You should explain to your present girlfriend that the ex is an ex for a reason. Even though she hurt you, she still represents a part of your life.
Otoh, you don't need to be constantly talking about your ex. If your current doesn't want to hear anything about the ex, then just don't bring it up.

I think your gf has a reason to be upset, she is probably jealous of your ex, and she feels threatened by you keeping in contact with her. just let your ex know that she is your ex, and that doesn't mean that you can't talk to her at all, just make sure that you don't get close, because girls can get really put out by you hanging with your ex, but if she is moving away, it doesn't seem to be too much of a problem. let your gf know that there is nothing to worry about, and take her out or something to make sure she feels loved.

To tell or no to tell.
IF you didn't tell her and she found out about the ex gf, how ticked would she have been then? BUT you told the truth and she still got mad? Sounds like some one is very insecure. I don't know about you but I would run the other way than to be stuck to someone I can't even be honest to. I have a very low tolerance for insecure people.

I think your gf hates your old gf just because she is jealous. That sounds like an excuse to me. Duh...your still talking to your old girlfriend so she's gonna think you still have some kind of feelings for her, If your gf is worth it, just stop answering her e-mails, she'll get the hint, your old gf is moving on I suggest you do the same.

I think she's got a reason to be pissed. I'd be pretty upset too.. but keep in mind that she's not mad because your ex is talking to you. She's upset because your ex left you and is suddenly raking you up again. Forgive and forget. She's moving anyhow so what's the point in holding the grudge? Say your goodbyes and let it be over.

she doesnt have a reason to be pissed at all.. so ur old gf text u to tell that she's moving away.. nothing wrong with that.. you better talk to ur gf or u might be under her total control..
