Why is it that cops are quick to get on someone with a sound system in their car even if its a premium factory one thats loud but still cant be heard over 50 feet away but you have all these retards with their 98 dodge neons and those really loud mufflers that dont even do anything for preformance or someone with a Harley Davidson motorcycle that you can hear from 2 1/2 blocks away and I never see or hear about them getting pulled over for noise violations

OK It dosnt matter what the sound is it could be your breathing for all the written law cares if anyone can hear you breathing while in your car from over 50 feet your supposed to get a ticket....AFTER someone finds your inhaler so unless you have a relvent answer please dont

Reminds me of a joke about a permit test question:
Q: Why is it hard to be a police officer?
A: Cause it's hard to be a dick all day.
You get good cops, bad cops and lazy cops. If the mufflers are within regulations for sound, then the cops cant do anything, however if your stereo is too loud, they can tell you to keep it down. They should only tell you to keep it down not give you a citation or anything unless you are blasting it at 4AM.

50 feet? I can hear the base on some of those cars 2 1/2 blocks away. If they sit in front of your house pictures start falling of the wall. I don't know how you have any eardrums left!
I have been to some shows and those cars are packed with stereo equipment. They must cost 30 or 40,000 dollars and if I played my home stereo as loud as some I have heard, I would have the police at more door as well!!
Standard car equipment I usually have no problem with because it is the base that you hear on the others. I guess you can get picked up with those but you have to use some common sense. You can't go through private neighbohoods at 2 am with your stereo cranked. You are asking to be stopped!
They are suppose to go by decibels, and they do pick up loud cars here especially with illegal mufflers on them.
Most motorcycles they leave alone.

50 feet away? Are you for real? At a red light, do you stay 50 feet away from the rest of the pack? I seriously think that certain people need iron bumpers so they can put a stop to the dumb *** hearing impaired wanna be-never bes who have to compensate for something lacking in their lives by jacking up inane and irrelevant "music" that disturbs others. It's not the cop's fault that you have this disease.

Because, it goes by Citizens Complaints. Fi we get calls on the aforemention stuff we give them hell also.. I know been working in Law enforcement for 9 yrs plus now...It is all of the peeps in the Nieghborhoods complaining about loud music now Street pipes on cars or Motorcycles. Those done shake their walls off the house lik heavy base dose..think about it
