Fails how?

Mine was like that too for a couple of reasons:
-Stress
-Strong hair products

I suggest to relax, to consult a dermathologist for it may be from stress to hormonal changes. Most of the good shampoos and hair products that help you in this situation are not well known and that's why a proffessional can help you.
Also do not use too much conditioner in your hair, it damages it.
Brands that are bad to your hair are Herbal Essences and Dove, try not to use them.
When hair is falling cut at least half an inch every month. The first time try one or two inches, it is important for your hair to breath too.
Try not to blow-dry it often and never go to sleep with your hair wet, it makes it much too thin and weak.
Finally and most importantly, eat well. Drink milk and get food high in protein. Vitamin A and E help too.

It's quite normal to loose a lot of hairs, the average woman looses about 100 hair from her head alone a day.
But if this is a concern to you, you can take a few precautions, Phyto is a natural hair care range they use all natural ingredients in there product. They have a really good range for thinning hair called Phytocayne, the shampoo and hair treatment is excellent!! It's not to expensive either.
I use it as a precaution, as I straighten my hair everyday and noticed I was loosing more hair than usual. After about 2 treatments I defiantly noticed a huge difference.

Some thyroid disorders can be cured, but many require lifetime treatment. Learn here https://tr.im/lrRtb
For example, sometimes early stage thyroid cancer can be cured by surgery to remove the thyroid gland, but you will need to take thyroid hormone medication afterwards for the rest of your life. Goiters can also be surgically removed and do not always recur after surgery. In most cases, thyroid disorders need treatment over a lifetime. However, with treatment most people with thyroid disorders can live normal, healthy lives.

How healthy are you? Eating, drinking, all that? Under Stress? ask a family member if they experienced the same thing, but you are supposed to lose about 100 hairs either everyday or every week on average so it might be normal.

I'm 10 years old and my hair falls out a lot too.
Hair normally falls out at an early age because of stress. So try to tone down your stress level.
I recommend meditation and yoga.

Do you mean that it falls off? It could be hereditary but then be careful, don't use a brush, use a comb instead, don't use shampoos with too many chemicals and don't scrub with your nails. Wearing hats is bad for your hair unless it's freezing outside. Also, massage your scalp with your fingertips.

see a doctor and have your thyroid gland checked. hair loss can be a sign of problems, especially if you're excessively tired, have had weight loss or gain. improper diet can also lead to hair loss, so a general physical exam and some bloodwork might be a good place to start.
