What if you could prove, beyond all doubt, that your spiritual beliefs were in fact the one and only way? BUT there’s a catch to it. In order for you to give the rest of the world concrete, undeniable proof that your religion was actually the true and final faith, you had to give up your own life. Would you do it?

"What is the word that when spoken would vanish?"
--- Silence----
(Life is Beautiful)

Giving undeniable proof of a spiritual belief would be like giving someone a rope to hang himself with. The very essence of faith is "belief without seeing, touching, hearing." Faith is beautiful because of this unconditionality. Giving incontrovertible proof that the object of your faith IS would indeed be amazing, but...

The moment they have proof, people would of course believe. It is there, rendered unquestionable and irrefutable by your death.

.... but could you still call that faith?

Well, I believe that the various religions all basically believe in the same things, just in different ways. So if that is absolutely correct, then there's no need to give anyone undeniable proof.

Do I think it would make the world a better place to believe it? Or is the final true religion just utter pragmatism/survival of the fittest? Because if I thought it would help the world, yes I would give up my life. But if I thought it would just bring more pain and less compassion, then no, I wouldn't.

If I could, I wouldn't.

God gave people freewill to worship what they please. If he didn't want people in thousands of other religions, why hasn't he smited them yet and left the world for his chosen people?
I would never, ever tell. It has nothing to do with the "giving up my life," either. It has to do with the betterment of the world.
If people were told that there is only one way and it was broadcasted around the world that there was only one way.. Pandemonium. Hate. Much more chaos than ever.

Yes I would, without a second thought. I would do it for the sake of those few who might be swayed by it, although in my experience not many people really believe things because of proof.

I believe that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that is all that is true to me, and by faith, that is the only concrete evidence that I need to prove that He is real.

Joh 20:29 Jesus said to him, Thomas, because you have seen Me you have believed. Blessed are they who have not seen and have believed.

No, because my religion doesn't teach eternal damnation for those who do not believe the same way. What you believe in doesn't make a bit of difference to what happens in the end, which is rebirth.

I won't know until the time comes, if God will give me that grace, I can hope for it, for in and of myself, I have no courage or fortitude. All is from God, and should the situation arise, I pray that I endure it for the sake of poor sinners, as Christ did. But I am nothing.

I'll risk my life killing all the other guys in the world who believe that God is on their side. God would have to take sides and support the good guys. Once the dust settles, we will all know if God is real or not. I'm on the good guy side.

It depends on what my flawless spiritual beliefs recommended. But I would guess no, I would challenge myself to do it a different way.
