It really depends on the dog and it's attitude or personality.
Here are some I know and what kind of breed they are:
1. Sassy- Boston Terrier
2. Angel- Chi mixed
3. Sadie- Pug
4. Belle- Long hair Chi
5. Geisha- Chi
6. Precious- Yorkie
Just get to know the dog and most of the time a name will just come to you.
Hope this helped! Good Luck and happy name hunting!

I agree with the flower names. My dogs name is Lilly.
So she has plenty of nicknames..Silly Lilly or silly Lillikens
Lillian when she is about to get into trouble. I also call her Silly cuddly Lilly pooh bear love bug. Lil Pooh Bear, Pooh Pooh bear
Lilly Le Pooh (sometimes she's french) She responds to all of these cuz I think she knows her Momma(thats me) is kinda crazy. she is so well taken care of that it's ok.....
Plus I never use the command sit,, I say to her, "Lilly what do good girls do?" And she sits for her treat!!! I have the best dog ever..if your wondering she's a Westie!

do you know the dog well? if so search your mind, usually subconsiously you have a name that searches a n animal great, but hasn't come to the top of your mind yet, if your still having trouble, spend some time with the dog and see if anything comes to you. If not, invest in one of those cheap name books at walmart, target , kmart,... Good Luck!!

I thing Deeohgee is a really cool name...you can shorten to g-g if you're being all cute. (in case you didn't get it, d-o-g spells dog..I am amazed at how many people don't get it)..Be good to your dog!!
