do dentists have payment plans?

1. Go to the dentist. Figure out the payment later.
2. Go every 6 months and get your teeth cleaned. It saves
money in the long run.
3. Pay with a credit card. Pay it off over time. If that is not an option,
4. Ask your parents to help you. Or some other family. Parents or family won't mind helping you with a health issue. Maybe they can use a credit card for you and you can pay them back over time.

In many cities there are dental clinics that charge on a sliding scale based on your income. You may also want to check with your church to find out if there are any church sponsored dental (and medical) clinics in your area. You can usually get in pretty fast for an emergency but there is usually a pretty long wait (1 month or more) for just a general appointment. Of course, dental schools have been mentioned, but you also might consider calling any dental "chains" such as Comfort Dental and ask if they have a finance plan available.

i work in a dental office in Atlanta, GA and we do offer payment plans for certain procedures, not just anything. Chances are if you are just looking for just a check up and cleaning it's going to be hard to find a dentist that offers payment plans for that.

I second the dental school idea. Check around and see if there is a dental program in a local college or university. They offer much reduced rates.

Most dentists have finance plans available through finance companies.

Check your local Government or Chamber of Commerce. There are many clinics that offer dental services to low income individuals, and you may just find one in your area.

Some do. You might try to find a dental college in your area. They are cheap and good.
