Don't they realize that when someone looks at them from more than a few feet away, that it looks very strange and often you can't see them at all? Come on girls, don't you realize that Brook Shields became very popular and turned a ton of guys on by her full eyebrows? That thin line look is out with guys, beleive me. It is more in for older ladies that now have to pencil them in. Look, when you are messing with your face, stand back about 4-5 feet and then see what you look like. And get rid of those magnifying mirrors! Most guys like the natural look with modest accents.

women dont pluck thier "eyelashes" but do tend to overpluck thier eyebrows, from standing too close too a mirror and then needing too often fix this up with an eyeliner pencil. sadly women only do this for the other sex to have that desireable shape, continuos plucking of the wrong shape will cause irraversable damage as the hair will not grow back thick enough. hence all these older ladies with drawn on brows!

OK, well firstly I'd like to point out that in the main part of the question you said eyelashes and not eyebrows, but i know what you mean, and yes, i agree with you, even though i am a girl, it looks really bad if they are really thin, i do pluck my eyebrows, but i just do it to tidy up the stray hairs that are not really joined to the main part, it makes them look neater, but i don't make them thin, it just looks unnatural.

Girls don't like to look hairy and when they have big bushy eyebrows, it makes them look hairy, and unclean.
When you get your eyebrows waxed, it clears up your face so you can see the persons eyes more clearly.

umm, you said eyelashes. I don't think girls pluck their eyelashes sorry, but tons of girls over pluck their eyebrows! they just don't know how to do it right. ya they can look really bad, and they have no idea.
