I love him more than anything but he can be the biggest jerk sometimes...and it shows everyone says I am too good for him and I know but don' wnat to believe it.

yea..I guess you can be...but your only in love with the person you think he can be...your not in love with him..because you think he is a jerk..but I think you love the man that you think you can change him in to

Please do not take this wrong... but everyone can be a jerk sometimes. you have to decide - when is he a jerk? What does he do when he is a jerk? Does he act the way he does because he didnt have a father around and didnt learn how to treat a woman? Are you willing and is he willing to Learn from a Strong male figure how to treat you? How much are you willing to work on this relationship? how much is HE willing to work on this relationship? Dont get married until he gets the help that is needed. Marriage should be forever and a commitment to each other for life. Dont get stuck in a sad and loveless marriage or have to go through a painful divorce.

No, you can't truly be in love with a jerk. There are other issues here which you know but refuse to let surface. You can't be in love with someone who doesn't truly show love towards you and you shouldn't be. There are too many good people out there who will treat you right to be wasting it on someone who doesn't appreciate you. I would say its more infatuation, lust or saddly, lack of self-esteem. You need to make a choice about the kind of love you are willing to live with. Find true love and you will ask yourself how you could have stayed in a relationship that was any less than. Search your heart, don't be afraid to be alone and never settle for less than you feel you deserve.

Young Lady, it is really important that you Love yourself enough not to let people treat you in any way except with respect and kindness. If a guy is being a jerk to you and you are excepting it, you may set yourself up to be a door mat and later in life you will make it OK to be abused so you will be loved. You do what you want but I would rather be alone than be treated bad by some jerk. No one should be treated like that. I say kick him to the curb and move on to someone later who will treat you right. You may help him realize what a jerk he is and by loosing your friendship; in the future he won't mistreat other. If he looses enough by treating others bad, maybe he will learn his lesson. If not he will have to keep loosing til he does. There are a lot of grown men and women who have not learned what I have just told you. Many times we only meet people for lessons. How badly do you really want to be treated?

well u need to let him know when is wrong or being a jerk as u call it. if u love this man u will find d right words to say n d right thing to do ok. this guy could b d one to take care of u 4 d rest of your life sometimes its not who too good 4 who but who will take care of u n treat u like a real lady

LOL I married a HUGE jerk, trust me you can love them and desire them and think they are great, yet everyone wont get it...but you -winks-
Jerks are the ONLY way to go, at least you will know they are kinda like dogs, Loyalists and Will protect you with their lives, cause they don't know any better...

Love is not uncontrollable. It is not something that just happens to you. You do not have to follow your feelings. You can chose to love someone who is not a jerk. Cupid really didn't shoot an arrow and make you love a jerk. That was your own doing.

unfortunatly. Ask yourself one question tho...what do you like about him. Then write the things you dont like about him. Weigh them out...(it will take more than one day to do this...take atleast a week and everytime he does something you like write it down for the good and everytime he does something you dont like write it down for the bad) more than likely (if he is a jerk) then you will realize that there are more cons than pros. If he's a jerk leave him you have obviously realized hes a jerk.. Don't put yourself through torture the rest of your life!!! Leave him and find someone who will treat you like a princess!! =)

The VERY hard way.
I know it hurts, but he pr obobly is a jerk, and if your friends are saying this, you DO deserve someone better. You know your friends. They'd never do anything just for the fun of making you sad.

Sometimes we cannot control who we fall in love with. If you know that you are too good for him than maybe it is time to move on. Only you know what yo should do, just listen to your heart.
