im 14 and so is my girlfriend i like to talk to her over IM but when we talk in person we just have awkward silence i dont like that i want to talk to her

sometimes people find it easier to talk online because it gives them time to think of wat they REALLY wanna say....... it may be easy for u, but for her, she might be nervous when shes around u in person.. just take it slowly.

Well start talking what holding you back. why dont you ask her frist starters . tell her that she look pretty today. Then ask her if she wants to go to the movie or how her day so far. dont talk to her so much so when you do want to talk to her you have all kinds of thinks to talk about , when you were not talking to her last time .
