When I first read your question I thought you were asking something else. But now that I see the rest of what you wrote.....
Don't you see them? If they are more then the auditory hallucinations of schizophrenia or drugs, I may have an idea. But I hate to open Pandora's box when I'm not there to see that you get help.
Find a professional- it's hard to even discuss this without knowing more... about you- and without opening up issues that can't possibly be dealt with here. Get a therapist and a very good one- one that specializes in dissociative disorders, PTSD. They're not easy to find. Try this number. NMHA Resource Center at 1-800-969-6642.

Sorry had to throw that in...i was thinking of the movie...
I know what u mean...i go through it as well.
Mines just a bit different, like the other night I had seen a dog dying, it was black & brown and I thought is was another dog in my family. The next 3 days it was my dog that died, she just passed yesterday, 1 yr old.
I could tell you some more,but we wold be here all night.

A good garden hoe or spade should do the trick. You then need to use a 70% fish-fertilizer on the affected area. Aereate the soil and then replant. That should help you ignore the stupid questions like this one...

I believe that our culture belittles the elderly. Thus, they are not seen, recognized and easily ignored. Is this what you mean by invisible?
