Yes. In each altar, there is an altar stone which contains a relic of a saint. They should be first class relics (bone fragments or part of the saint's body)

In the Book of Revelations, when St. John talks about the Saints Dressed in White below the Alter, he is meaning the bones of the saints below the altar where Mass is said. Usually the relics in the altar stone are of the Saint that the Church was named after. The placing of the relics is part of the consecration of the Church.

Yes, every Catholic has at least one relic in it. In modern churches, I believe the tradition is to have the relic inside the alter.

The presence of a relic in a Church is one of the things necessary for sanctifying a church for Catholic worhsip.

To the best of my knowledge all churches will have a relic at, on or in the alter. For example we have about 15 or more at ours
