Try Langkawi / Malaysia.

good peaceful island,
good golfing there.

I have been to phuket, dont know if golfing was there.
but i am sure it must be, since most tourist now prefer playing gold.

Try Phuket in Thailand. In the Laguna area there are many fantastic golf courses. You can stay in any one of the nearby hotels. You are about 20 minutes drive from Patong and the famous nightlife. My recommendation though is to stay in the Patong area and travel to the golf courses each day.

For golf and nightife I would say you have a choice between Phuket, Pattaya, Hua Hin and Ko Samui.

If you are travelling say August and September I would make it Ko Samui (although I believe there is only one course). For December - March go to any of the others.

The rest of the year be prepared for rain.

You asked under thailand, so I guess you know what you are getting. In the northeast province of Nakorn Ratchasima, in Pak Chong, some of the best hill resorts and golf courses in Thailand are there. You can give it a try if you are in Thailand.

the best area to go to is (PHUKET) Thailand, its the best area for golf , swimming, nightlife. its a touristic area and allot of people normally go for golfing,swimming and for sure nightlife. I've been there, my wife used to be tour guide in phuket, and I'm going back this January for a month, try it, it will be your best vacation ever.

Thai - Pattaya has both good golfing and good nightlife. Phuket has both too, plus a clean beach. Other countries are more expensive
