XP Pro also allows your PC to attach to a Windows Domain.
XP Home will not allow that.

windows xp prof. has tighter file encription system and repairs itself if error is present at startup home version I do not know to much about it is a nice system that runs itself if you go with it.
I ran OS windows 3.0, 3.11 98se, ME now XP prof and xp home on another of all the operating system I like xp prof the most!
xp prof does it all what ever you want to throw at it. from gaming to business to music to editing movies to only your mind can take it
