first of all they are not on every corner and they're only where they are bc people buy it and continue the trend

That's a good question. It does cost about 5 million dollars to get a McDonald's franchise license. Money is probably the biggest factor followed by power. Someone who opens a successful McDonald's today for 5 million knows that they will be able to sell for twice that much down the road...it's an investment that has an almost guaranteed appreciation...it's the same as someone investing in Microsoft or Starbucks.

It may seem like McDonald's is everywhere and there are many stores throughout the world but not on ever corner. The big answer is Money. It is all about making money from people. Rev. TomCat

I don't have one on any corner near me. I guess people love McDonalds. I don't understand because I would have to be starving and near death to eat there.

"Nasty isn't it........." " No kidding ,( Lucky Me ) I think you have a point there........ " I wont let my babies eat their "chicken nuggets anymore, because well it is really nasty, ..." Have you ever bit into one? Very gross........... And as for Walmart....... Who in their right mind would get a pedicure while anyone can watch? Or a haircut...? Wait what about how nasty it is to buy your groceries while someone is getting there toes cleaned? Just nasty ..... Very GROSS... And all of this and some garbage from Micky "D's"
