No, because while all Christians do say that they follow Christ, or try to follow Christ, it is not true that all Christians believe in Trinitarianism. There are some fundamentalist Christian sects that are binitarian, meaning that they accept the Father and the Son as divine personages, they feel that the Holy Spirit is not a person but rather God's creating power at work.
Some feminist Christians reject the trinity because it is represented entirely as masculine.
Other Christians have expressed concern that as a model the Trinity limits the manifestations of God in the world to only three.
So, there are many flavors of Christian thinking out there!

To me it wouldn't matter if you called Christianity or Christians "Cobalt Blue Puzzle People" if you wanted to because the name in itself means nothing.
If the fact that we believe in Trinitarianism (Father, Son & Holy Ghost) makes you more comfortable calling us Trinitians...be my guest.
It is the foundation and the faith and the actions of those who believe and worship and follow the teachings of Christianity that make them Christians (Christ-like), not the name.
So call me or my beliefs what you like as that will not change who and what I am. :)

Why? I thought that Christian was to be Christ-like. Just because we believe in the Father, Son and Holy Ghost isn't a reason for a new religion/name in my opinion.

What do you mean Trinitarians today? The first book of the Bible Genesis Says "Let US make man in OUR image" Thats plural. Its always been 1 God who manifests himself in 3 persons. Look at water. It can be solid, liquid or vapor. Yet it is still ONE-water. God uses water as example for a reason. Its in everything-almost.

We should be called followers of 'The Way' like they were called in the Bible days. The term 'Christian' has left a bad taste in people's mouths far too many times.

that actually makes sense since we believe in the holy trinity (father son and holy spirit.) but i think the reason it's mantained the title christianity is because christ was the ultimate connection if you will between us and god. without him, christianity as we know it simply wouldn't be a religion..... because of his sacrifice we can spend eternity with all three

all names are arbitrary to a degree. christians are called christians because the dominant military power that fostered the rise of christianity to europe and the world referred to them as christian is ther simple answer . even if it is kind of dull.
