tell me what does your religion say about GOD. mine (ISLAM) says tht he's only one, a great one. able to do anything. his name is ALLAH. has many adj that show his greatness. created human beings to worship him and make this earth a better place to be. he sent prophets over time to tell us how to do tht, and gave us free will to decide what we wanna do. he told us how to deal with things and gave us solutions for every trouble we may have (even hto nt all muslims follow tht today) he also told us to behave and treat ppl (also nt all muslims follow tht). he also gave us signs about the end and told us how it will be. he told us what happens after we die and what we have afterlife.
ps: not all who says i'm muslim represent islam just like nt all who say i.e. i'm christian represents christianity!

and He Loves us so much:

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved."John 3:17-17

and for this we shoud: "Be joyful always" 1 Thessalonians 5:16

In olden days, communication between distant countries or lands especially across oceans was very poor or almost zero... Look at it from that background. Wise men , holy men existed in all places. They saw the Supreme in their vision, and talked about it in their local language. Gradually it became a religion, and hence the different religion. Man is very peculiar... Political differences , ideologies have been resolved after communications improved. Like for examples, slavery, human slaughter, dictator ship, even to some extent weaponisation has come under a common or similar law. Democracy, election pattern is getting globalized. But despite good communication, on-line chatting etc, one thing, religion, remains a great elusive, disputed subject ! Again, it is no mystery, because, this is the only area where blind belief holds strength over minds of people. Irrational power loving individuals seek this as a last straw to retain hold over their own people and through them others ! And in the matter of understanding the Supreme, even science or logic can help very little. These are the reasons for comparisons etc..

I'm a Christian, and I perfectly agree with everything you said about God. He is only one, almighty, and so forth. The main difference I have with Islam is that you don't accept Jesus as personal Saviour. I could swallow an additional holy book which I didn't believe in (as I do with Mormons). . . I could even deal with disbelief in the Trinity (there are some Christians who also think that way). But the one thing I can never accept is rejection of Christ as the way of salvation. That's the one core principle of Christianity- everything else can be debated. But that's the one sticky point that can't be smoothed over. I'm not sure even how Muslims feel about that one particular thing. It would be an interesting discussion.

My religion teaches the same thing except I was taught that God came in three forms, God the father, God the son and the Holy Ghost and the three are one. I was also taught that God's name is Allah. I beileve that if everyone in the US would respect each other's religions then the world would be a better place.

If one was to sudy there Bible or whatever religious study they would see how the other religions came about and gain the understanding that is needed.

I agree w/ your that there is only one God and that he is almighty and can see, do and change everything. Free will is a wonderful thing, right?

I don't think there are 'good' or 'bad' religions. I think that as long as people have faith in SOMETHING then we are ok. I also understand how you can practice/follow certain things of your religion and not everything. I am Catholic. I believe in God, I am big on the Virgin Mary, Jesus is my homeboy, etc. BUT I think its crazy to go to church and pray to a bunch of statues, I've never been able to do that. Does that mean I am less catholic than say, the little old women that are always in church ? I don't think so. As long as you have faith in a greater being and you live a good live not hurting anyone, you should be ok.

I am a Christian. Basically I follow the messiah. Who is Jesus of Nazareth. He is the son of the same God you serve. But when Abram had Ishmael and Isaac. Islam is what happen. Isaac is the Hebrew version. Ishmael was the result of humans trying to do Gods will and Isaac was the result of God blessing Sarah and Abraham.

Amen to that sister! I am a Christian, and your religion is very similar to mine. Our religions are also very similar to Judaism. I think the world needs to see more muslims like you, instead of the Media's twisted view on the middle east and Islam. You represent what it is to be a true compassionate, god loving/fearing muslim, a good person. We should all be compassionate and treat each other with respect and love.

Ignorant does no longer recommend someone is stupid purely no longer recommended. there is assorted good info about God obtainable through scientist that understand what they're speaking about. regrettably Christianity isn't superb about explaining assorted this to people and would come out like non sense. solutions in Genesis is a good company that has assorted assistance about even if there is info for God or no longer. you've a call to be ignorant "uninformed" or to income the assistance and make a range for your self. And thus far as fossils that instruct evolution instruct me a fossil that proves the gaining of genetic assistance and that i'm able to likely instruct you a hoax. there has been one after yet another of challenge hyperlinks that became out to be altered and doctored as a lot as look as if something they don't look to be. All I ask is do the study for your self and note what you stumble on.

this is based off a convo i had with a Muslim btw

my thing is this....you say Allah is ALL POWERFUL? but your answer for why Jesus isn't God is because He Died...and such, "if God is dead then who's running the place/Allah cant die"

so i say, my God is more powerful than Allah because he can simultaneously be dead and alive....

but because you cant comprehend that, its not possible for Allah to do...

therefore...Allah is limited to what your human mind can comprehend, right?

my human mind can comprehend being both dead and alive at the same exact moment...like YHWY was..but by faith i understand that the Son was dead while the Father was still kickin', and that they are one and the same...

see what I'm sayin..if Allah is all powerful, then Allah should hold death in Allah's hand and toss it around like a toy..like the God of Jacob dose....

i thank you for opening a civil question where this can be discussed.
and i apologize for the people that are going to get on here and make fools of themselves by showing anger.
I am a Christian.

God=1
God is one but has manifested himself in 3 ways (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit)
The Father=God (God manifest as well God)
The Son=Jesus Christ (God manifest as Man) , He came to Earth and gave himself as a pure sacrifice so we may enter into Heaven. (If you reject the son, you have given up your right to enter Heaven(you go to Hell))
Holy Spirit=Spirit (God manifest within all believers and in the world), He is mentioned as the great comforter, He also brings on the convictions (the realization of sin-full ways and the need for God's grace and Salvation.) He is with us during our daily walk He encourages us. He brings us the will of God for our lives

I know it is a difficult concept but God=1 in three ways

it is easy to think of it this way God=1^3=1

(1^3 means 1 to the 3rd power which = 1)
