If they are unbelievers they won't be raptured regardless if they are sitting in a church pew or not. God knows the difference.

There is no rapture. What is meant by the term in modern times is a lie and it comes out of the works of a 19th century American named John Darby (look him up and you will find that he was into occult practices). The doctrine of a secret rapture was first conceived by John Darby of the Plymouth Brethren in 1827 It has nothing to do with how Paul and his followers understood what he wrote. Even a loose understanding of "rapture" is virtually unheard of in the writings of the Church Fathers.

If the tribulation comes during our life times, the idea of the rapture is going to have many Christians turn away and apostatize. Christians will suffer greatly before the end, and if you think you are going to get raptured, but end up suffering, you will assume that Christianity is wrong.

If a sinner is in Church and you aren't who is closer to God? We all sin, everyone. But there is a difference between knowing you are a sinner and thinking you aren't. If Jesus came to town, would He be in Church or would He be with the homeless and downhearted. I believe He chooses the later, and that is a good thing. You don't go the hospital unless you are sick and I know Church is a good place for those who are seeking the truth. Church could be a hospital for sinners. Peace.

I think that when Jesus comes everyone will see it. There won't be a secret rapture. It says in the new testemennt that Every eye shall see and every knee will bow. So how can that be secret? Anyone who will go to heaven has to love Jesus with all of their hearts and keep the ten commandments.

The second coming consisted of a revival in christianity, using the crucifix.... it began being used about a 1000 years ago. And he's not getting a 3rd millennium.

If you want to find the biggest collection of sinners, go to church. They think they are better than anyone else which is the worst sin of all.
