Good Question. Why don't you start a raised on Monday movement and get the records changed.
I will open a printing company and start printing all the new calenders that the whole world will need that shows Monday as the first day of the week, not Sunday. Then we both will be happy because your question is answered and I will be rich in money.
If that don't work just write on your calender the word Monday over the word Sunday and then you can say Jesus was raised on Monday for you. I don't know if your boss will accept that come payday, but then that is another story.
Just smile with a sly smile and try it.

I think just_wondering deserves the ten points for this one! :)
It's already a three-day weekend in Canada. This country couldn't exist without Quebec, which was originally settled by French Catholics, and that's why Good Friday is a statutory holiday here.

Wouldn't it have been better if Jesus had been crucified and resurrected once a month so that we'd get long weekends regularly throughout the year?
That was just so thoughtless of them Romans...

If Jesus was a good god, he would have waited a whole week so we would never have to work.
