havent heard of using pumpkin but its worth a try. please dont give her a laxative in pill form or metamucil or ex lax or anything else we humans take. her little system is just too delicate for this and could cause her to have severe cramping. hope she has good results.

i just went through the same thing. My 78 lb golden retriever hasnt gone for 2 days. i didnt have any creamed corn or pumpkin mix, which i've been reading has a great success rate. i gave her 2 Tablespoons dark KAro corn syrup and then fed her 15 minutes later...she finally pooped after eating! (I never thought i'd be so happy to see her go! lol)

Give her a couple of teaspoons of canned pumpkin. Should do the trick.

Milk also helps. I've had that problem with my dogs.
