First, know that you are not alone. We all go through times where our faith seems really weak. Many people in the bible did as well. I'd like to ask if you have been baptized in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? Receiving the spirit of God will help you through difficult times. I also wish I knew more about your situation. Is your faith weak because of hardships or pain? Or is it weak because of comfort and things being too easy? I know that sounds strange but I'm such a hard head that I have more problems with my faith during times of plenty. When difficulty comes I've learned to rely on God. Once he gets me through it my faith is stronger. It may not be pleasant during these times but knowing that I will be closer to God helps. On the other hand sometimes I feel my faith is so strong that I could go toe to toe with satan and he would never get a glove on me. I think at those times he does not fight. Instead satan tells me how great I'm doing and trys to fill me up with arrogance. So when I'm strong, I'm weak. When I'm weak, I'm strong. Just turn it over to God constantly, he is strong always. Get with friends who love God so they can help you through this.

I believe that the only true way to have true faith is to experience something that should have had a different outcome than it did. For example, when I was four I was in Florida, couldn't swim and fell off an alligator shape floating device, I remained completely calm looked up through the water thinking how beautiful the sun was reflecting through, waiting to die peacefully because I knew I was going to be taken care of when all of a sudden two young ladies picked me up off the ocean floor and saved my life, they just happened upon me at that moment, I believe that God made them move there. My calm assured me that someone was watching over me and I was not meant to die. I have had faith ever since.

Just look within yourself. You can't force faith. You can't try to force yourself to believe in something out of fear or for anyone else. Instead, try and figuire out why you "lack" faith. Is there reason for it. And don't be afraid to turn to Agnosticism or Atheism. Most that end up as these (including myself) did so because we took a look at why we lacked faith and came up with the reason as what we are being taught is illogical. Hell, create your own religion. Worship whatever diety the way you want to. Maybe then your faith will return.

Faith begets faith. If you are a Christian, the word says" faith cometh by hearing and hearing the word of God." As a Christian it is our duty to study prayerfully the scriptures and have them all be obeyed and practiced. When we Christians practiced what we read, studied from the Bible then that is the time that our faith is put into action and it's not dead nor pretty weak. I suggest that you visit your church leader and confess your question to him or her and may God bless your sharing turning your weakness into boldness of following God by faith through His written Word. God bless,

God says to ask (simply and with trust) and He will give it to you. Pray and ask for more faith, but know that faith is built and grows through trials, and patience. Then only you will see how much faith you have and how much you need more and if you trust God you will get it for He doesn't allow anyone to be testes beyound their capacity and with all test He gives the way to over come it... That builds faiths.

Pray without stopping, I mean to live so near to Him that you can talk with Him any time and anywhere. Fellowship with Him, form a habit of a daily quiet time, where your alone and uninterrupted and pour your heart out to Him.
Read your bible daily, it's His word, His personal letter to you. When you read it, focus on the Lord as He is speaking to you and you are to believe and act on what he says. Read it slowly, jot down key passages that impress you. Try to memorize one key verse or phrase daily, and meditate on it throughout your day. See every chapter in His book as if His finger is pointing out the way for you to follow.
In the middle of the day or if your awakened at night, speak to Him, take every though and deed you've done that day and tell Him about it. Ask Him to show you what you need to do to become more like Him.
Join a fellowship group and dig in, belong and do your part to impress God, even if you have to stand on a street corner and hand out His message, do it. The more you do for Him, the greater your reward will be.
Give a portion of your material blessings to the church, that you may bless others. Remember that money spent on yourself will be a millstone around your neck, but the money you give to others will really give you wings.
Whenever you come to a hard place, ask yourself, " what would Jesus do?" Keep in mind that belonging to Him, you have to think like Him, He lives in you, he speaks through you, He sees through you, and He hears through you. He knows all about you, so show Him the respect He so deserves.

You can't purchase or "get" faith. Faith is received by God's will. What you should do is pray for the necessary graces to strive for holiness. Eventually striving for holiness will lead to having a deeper faith in God. But everything you pray for must be in God's will. That's why you will sometimes hear Christians say the phrases after prayer, "God willing" or "Let it be according to thy will."

As a christian I have found that the best way for me to feel closer to God is to just talk to him.Read the Bible and talk to Him like you would talk to your best friend. He is a good listener and you will actually begin to feel Him.During a really be time in my life I was praying to GOd for comfort and honestly I felt his arms around me.It was so warm and so much comfort...Go to church too, that helps.Im not saying that you have to go to church to feel Him in your life but to hear His word and sing songs of praise really makes you feel things.I sometimes find my self crying while singing.

Read your bible as much as you can. Go to bible studies. Hang around people from your church or people who you know believe in God. Pray for yourself. Look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are God's creation, and he LOVES you, no matter what you think of yourself.
God believes in you a lot. You can believe in him.
