Dogs and cats have pretty hardy immune systems when it comes to what they eat. If it was something really bad, it probably would have thrown it up already. In saying that, he could get worms or some other type of parasitic or enteric pathogen. Don't worry for now, and keep and eye on it, and if he begins to throw up or have watery stools, take him to the vet.

Chances are he will be okay. Birds can carry different diseases, but not all will have them. One of my Chihuahuas ate a Cardinal a few weeks ago and she was fine.

the bird will have worms that will cause the dog to have pharo it a diease that will eat up the inside

he could, something dead can carry a lot of bacteria, probably have diarreah and vomiting, take him to the vet if that doesnt clear itself up within a few day.

yeah he can defintily get sick you need to get him checked right away...as soon as possibe...birds can carry a lot of diseases

they carry wesnile virus I know that not all of them carry it though
