of course it's not wrong. If you have more feelings for someone new, that can be a reason to break up in the first place.

I am in this situation, also. I have been with my bf for over a year and a half, but even though I know he loves me, I am really attracted to another guy who I know at college. I've outgrown my bf and I am waiting for a good moment to tell him as much and pursue my new interest. Relationships end, and if you are strongly attracted to a new person, that's a pretty good indication that things in the relationship you are in are not going to be fixable. Give yourself some time between guys, though, in deference to your old bf's feelings and because you owe yourself some single gal time after being in a relationship.
