LOL! Hey Old Hippie, I've never worshipped at a church that made that distinction, so I have no idea what that's about.

So I looked on the web to see how far it goes, and when I got to eighth, I was alarmed to find there is a thirty-eighth Baptist Church in Hattiesburg, MS! (It's on 38th Avenue.)

So the highest number was 7th. http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=%22seventh+baptist+church%22&y=Search+the+Web&ei=UTF-8&fr=my-vert-web-top&x=wrt

as a christian and an olde hippy ,,heres the score the chuuches that believe in the spirit or were based on the 2nd chapter of acts like to think that they are closer to the spirit of the first church in Jerusalem ,,and if you read that second chapter of acts it sounds a lot like the deads house in the haight in 1967 or a commune in the country in 1972 ,,all of the mainstream churches have forgotten those basic principals ,,that gave them the power of God ,,and so ,,, but heres another story thats true ,,the first baptists in a town and the founders of a church in a city could rightly claim to be the first,, or simply the actual group is the first christian church in the town ,,so theres another way to look at it ,,an olde hippy

LoL, yeah I do wonder whats up with that and how they come about claiming to be the first church of....the only way that they could really do that would be to change the doctrine every time that they opened a new church up...

I think I got too serious...

Well, I lived near a Second ________ Church once. They had split from the First _______ Church. I figured ... Truth in advertising. And then, and this isn't JUST ludicrous but TRUE as well, there was another church in a small town here in my state called Bill's _______ Church. I don't know who Bill split with, but hey, at least he was up front about it. ROFL! ~ Peace & Blessings ~

Yeah, can you imagine going to The 6th Baptist Church? People with their 666 phobias would never be able to sleep at night.
