Could be anything, is it diarrhea? Or just semi soft stool, if its diarrhea and it begins to get worse youre definitely going to want to head to the vet because that would definitely indicate parvo. But i mean if its just a tiny amount of blood in semi soft stool it could be a number of things, food, got into something, worms may cause it but not very often. In all honesty id go into the vet and get it checked out, better safe then sorry, it should only cost you around 30 dollars, not including any medications they give to you. Get back to me and tell me what they say if you end up going in. Good luck, and i hope this helped.

Obvious blood in the stool of a puppy can be very serious. Get the pup to a vet. It could be something as easy to take care of as parasites but blood is not normal and even if the pup is not acting sick otherwise it could be a fatal condition that worsens very quickly.

You need to get it to vet to make sure it is not parvo. It just may be worms but to be sure i would go to vet. Parvo can be very dangerous to his health. A sign of parvo is they get where they wont eat or drink usually and get real skinny fast. It is very fast acting in them. Hopefully nothing this serious but i would rather be safe then sorry. I will say a prayer for your little pup i know how much they mean to a person.

The blood could be from straining, colitis/IBD, parasites, dietary indescretion.... I would recommend a stool sample check to rule out intestinal parasites. Otherwise keep an eye on it. If the blood continues he could have irritable bowel and may need a course of Flagyl. You can add yogurt to his food.

It could be a number of things. It could be worms and then the wormer will take care of those, but you will need to reworm in 2-3 weeks. It could be parvo. If it continues or gets worse, take it to the vet.

blood is NEVER a good sign. it is NEVER a normal thing. it is a sign that says, something is wrong. please take her to the vet with a stool sample. it could also be internal bleeding. have piece of mind and let the vet check her out. good luck

where did you get the hook worm med? otc,,, or vet. vet should of done a fecal test to see the severity of the infestation. otc meds are not as good. if its not hooks then its something else that needs to be addressed.
