What do you think? In a recent news story, an atheist sued a priest in Italy, claiming that the church fooled the people by telling them there was a person called "Jesus Christ". The atheist believes that there was no such person and he wants the priest and the church to prove that Christ really existed. It’s an old battle that has been going on for centuries. Even if one were to totally prove to a person that Christ existence is beyond any reasonable doubt at all in a court of law and facts, one question will still remains, would that person believe?

I find it shocking that many people that I've encountered over the years who reject the Bible and its claims, HAVE NEVER EVEN READ IT! In many cases, their rejection is based on nothing more than willful and blind ignorance. I have been told several times that the Bible is full of contradictions. I asked those same people, "Could you show me at least one contradiction?" About 99.99% of the time, that person rejecting the Bible and its claims has been stumped. Why can't they find even one contradiction? This goes to prove that a person's rejection of the Bible and its infallibility is not based on scientific, historical or archeological fact, but only to ease their own conscience and justify their sinful lifestyle.

Yes! The Bible WAS written by men. Most people seem to believe that mankind is imperfect and that it is impossible for a human being to be involved in such a perfect act. People will often say, "Well, the Bible was written by men." and I reply, "Yes, so was the manual for your car. Does the fact that a human being wrote that manual disqualify it from being accurate and correct?" The real answer is obvious. Since it is more than possible for a person or a group of people to write a manual that is void of errors, then why cannot a person or a group a people write a Bible is infallible? In most case as a society, we often put our entire lives in the hands of men based on their written words. Just think, every time when you start your car and drive, you are dependent upon the brakes, steering and other components for safety that a person had to first write down how it works on paper. This proves that although a person can make mistakes, they do not necessarily make mistakes in every case.

The Bible passes the test. I have spent time witnessing to atheists, agnostics, cultists and people involved in other world religions. Since there are many different sacred writings and millions of people have placed their entire eternal destiny on each of these books, how do we know which one of them is the truth? In order to be fair and balanced, the Bible must be put through the same exact test each and every other writing has been put through. I say to all, "Let's remove ourselves from our own set of beliefs and agendas and analyze the Bible and every other sacred writing. Let's put them all through the same 'divine acid test' and objectively look at the results, not with emotions but with facts." And at the end of each test, only the Bible passes ALL of the criteria set forth, every single one, proving that the Bible is the perfect, unchanging, infallible, inspired, written Word of God.

Jesus is included in other historical documents than just the Bible. I personally have read about Him in Josephus. And yes, He is the Christ. How many people do you know of that would die for a lie? ALL of the disciples except one died for saying that Jesus is the Christ.

In rebuttle to Yoda Green, there is much proof that Jesus was a man and did in fact, exist. It is impossible to find scientific proof, such as DNA & all the science stuff I won't pretend to have have a clue about, for such things were unheard of 2000 years ago. The fact that He rose from the dead, there wouldn't be any physical evidence anyway. However, the historical evidence is overwhelming...to say He did not at all exist is ludicrous.
As to whether or not He is indeed The Christ, that is a personal choice derived of acceptance, belief, and most importantly, faith. Without faith, belief means nothing & acceptance is just going through the motions, not really accepting Him at all.
Faith is where many, including myself, have faltered for lack of living by His word, and often resorting to old lifestyles. Yet, surrounding yourself with fellow believers, continued learning & understanding of His teachings (a New Internaltional Version, Student Bible will help immensely in study), true & constant effort to do your best to live by His word, and opening your heart can make this path an easier one to follow. Discussions and spiritual counselling (i'm not sure if that's the correct terminology) with the priest, pastor, rabbi (depending on your religious preference) is also a way to help build your faith and following. One of the best, I have found, though is prayer. He does listen & He does answer.
You must decide for yourself if Jesus is truly Christ...your Lord and Saviour. It is up to you to decide the eternal destination of your soul.
"Blessed is he
whose transgressions are forgiven,
whose sins are covered.
Blessed is the man
whose sin the Lord will never count
against him
and in whose spirit is no deceit."
~Psalm 32:1-2

The resources you have given are adequate to prove Jesus Christ did exist (and is still alive, as per writers of the bible and in the lives of the practicing Christian) unlike any other religious leaders!
Did Buddha, Mohammad, Confusius and many other such dignitaries existed? Well, the evidence for these are a lot more scantier than those for Jesus - yet we know beyond a doubt they existed.
Why not Jesus Christ?
Yes, for the majority of mankind - will they ever believe? Is it any wonder our Lord did predict his ways are narrow and ONLY a few will find?!

Jesus Christ is the name of the man that died for our sins and I believe this because i can feel Him in my heart.I know He is real and I feel sorry for people who dont believe. He loves everyone so much and there are so many people out there who are constantly talking trash about this man that loves even us sinners.Without Jesus in my life I would be lost because of him I have got through all kinds of hardships.I think alot of people like to believe only when good things are happening, because when it gets bad they tend to say if there is a God why is this happening? So I must say that the Bible is enough proof of Jesus, along with the fact that I have such a feeling of closeness with Him.

Yes and yes.
Read your bible and search your faith.
Lets just say for argument sake that he was not the son of GOD. So what, he was a good man that had faith in GOD, and tried to teach everyone the obvious teaching the man should know on what GOD wants from us.
Jesus Christ is lord and savior.

Jesus is not the Christ (Christ meaning Messiah). That is why Judaism is still waiting for its messiah. There was a historical man Jesus, and there is divine logos (a god), and they are not the same one. The logos descended upon Jesus at his baptism, this was the father in the form of a dove. This is when Jesus resurrected from the "dead" to perceive his inner god (logos; son of god).

Jesus of Nazareth most likely existed, and he seems to be referred to beyond the Bible in a smattering of Roman writings. Whether he was divine, God incarnate, is the real source of debate. Jesus was not the only "messiah" of the time, and his story has uncanny parallels to a Norse god called Odin.

I think he did. There are some books by Lee Stroebel who used to be an atheist then he did research from ancient times...now he writes books like "The Case for Christ" because after his research he believed.

The thing about Jesus, the Christ, the Son of the living God, is that anyone who honestly comes to Him, wanting to know if He is real, will be shown the Truth. He reveals Himself to the honest seeker...
