how do u say hi in sign language?

There are several ways to say it. Sign language like any other language has different ways of saying the same thing.

I use the sign for the letter 'H' and smoothly roll my hand into the letter 'I'.

If its a casual 'HI' and in "Hi ya... " The sign is slow and the stretched out.

If its a in a hurry 'HI', like you are passing in the hall both going different directions, it's a quick fast movement'

Of course there is the old fashion, smile, nod of head and say the word HI. The body language will fill in even if the person doesn't read lips.

Buddy,sorry to say, but the truth is you cannot SAY anything in sign language.You have to act. So y not try to wave your hand. Or just write HI in bold letters and show it.

well since i have a 85 % loss in both ears,i will give u the answer u need..
take ur right hand and put it up to ur forehead as if u were going to salute,facing ur palm a lil toward urself,then flip ur palm out toward the person u are speaking to, and pronounce HI or HELLO as u do this,as alot of deaf people actually can lip read,and rely on lip reading for up to 30% of their communication...
