I am working out 30min. a day, counting calories and fat and drinking nothing but water. Is it possible to do and do you have any other suggestion?

25 lbs in one month is too much for your body to handle..

the most your body can handle is about 1-2 pounds of fat in one week--so that would equate to as much as 8 lbs over a month...10 lbs if you work extra hard. 25 over 3-4 months is a better estimate.

One lb of fat is 3500 calories--and think about it--you should be in a deficit of 500 calories per day if you want to lose 3500 calories in one week

hence--you dont want to starve yourself obviously--so 500 deficit daily is the most your body can take.

hope that helps.

I wouldn't suggest losing 25lbs. in 1 month. That would be dangeroust for two reasons. You might be tempted to lose weight in unhealthy ways just to reach your goal. And if you do somehow healthily lose the weight, your body could not handle that drastic of a change in one month. I was able to lose 20 in 3 months only with a diet change and intense wrestling training, so I say aim lower and you'll get there gradually.

It's 3500 calories per pound of body weight, so you would have to cut about 3000 calories per day from your diet to lose 25 pounds in one month. If you do heavy physical labor for an occupation, weigh 300 pounds, and eat 5000 calories per day, then it might be possible. But not otherwise. (That might even destroy your kidneys or something similar just trying to dump all the metabolic wastes.)

Don't eat less than 1200 calories per day and keep up the workouts or walk 5 miles per day. That will give you the maximum safe weight loss.

It sounds like you're on the right track for losing weight, but I have heard healthy weight loss is 1-2 lbs. per week. To lose 25 lbs in just a month you would have to lose more than 6 lbs per week.
Be careful not to restrict your calories too much because your body will think it's starving and weight loss will become more difficult.

Don't do that please. You could kill yourself.

Okay, maybe not kill yourself, but it sure isn't healthy. Aim for something more realistic, like 2-3 lbs a month. I think I'm starting to look at this Slim-Fast thing, just cuz the shakes are so easy and I could easily loose the weight if I combined some exercise.

Just keep on doing what you're doing and you'll get there, definately.

I'm sure you can lose 25lbs in a month if you just work-out alittle bit more 6 days a week then you be slimmer in know time.

It is generally not safe to lose so much weight in such a short time. You could be depriving your body of important nutrients. If it happens too quickly, you might actually cause yourself to gain more weight, as your body will work harder to store more fat. Besides the health risks, people who lose so much weight so quickly tend to be left with a large amount of extra skin that they often find unattractive. When you lose it at a slower pace, the skin will often tighten as the weight is lost.

There are times when the benefits to extreme weight loss outweigh the risks, such as in extreme obesity. If you want/need to lose large amounts of weight quickly, you should speak with your doctor.

Yeah, but it would be easier over about 3 months. I lost over 30 lbs. over 3 months by just skipping lunch and eating a high protien dinner. I still ate a normal breakfast and I don't dink anything other than water and milk. No soda or juice.
