The chicken. The poor bird was probably attacked by a VERY frisky rooster and didn't even know what hit her. Animals around her were having babies that looked like their parents, like baby horses and cows... and then this egg pops out...? She probably sat on it out of embarrassment.
God created animals, not eggs. And why do you think people are so hung up on chickens and eggs? You don't hear of people asking which came first, the turtle or the egg... the crocodile or the egg... the fish or egg!
Besides, if God created a bunch of eggs instead of animals, wouldn't they get eaten by other animals because they can't defend themselves and no parents are around to protect them?

I've heard this enough to have come up with an answer. The egg.
Why? Because everything evolves. When something evolved it just didn't become a chicken, they had to be born. So when things evolved over time they began to devlope feature like the chicken, and layed eggs, and again, over time, the chicken was made.
how's that?

I think the egg would come first. Evolution would morph the ancestral chicken. I believe the first sign of the chicken would be in the egg.
