except than showing you are really angry .what do you do? mention what do you do when you are depressed and what do you do when you are angry ? To me i only listen to music and that helps me alot

If I get to the point I am seeing red...I leave the situation and sit quietly for about 30 mins. When I think I have calmed down enough I do some meditative breating and let the rage bleed out. Then I call my best girlfriend or my mom and have a bull session.

I have finally learned that no one gets hurt but you when you let yourself get angry. Find the root cause of your anger. 10 times out of 10 it is because of what you are thinking about. Most of our problems will be gone soon, so why worry about them. Don't compare yourself to other people -- each person is different -- learn to like yourself the way you are. None of us are perfect so just chill. Control what you think about and you can control your blood pressure, etc. Quiet music, going for a walk, watching the birds, deep breathing, and prayer.

For anger: excercise WHILE listening to angry music. That way it benefits yourself instead of embarassing yourself (ie. screaming or breaking things). For depressed times: go for a drive at night listening to sad music and cry really hard, no one can see or hear you.

For anger, I imagine everything is glass and that I can break all of it. That is a stress reliever for me. Then I listen to Tool which chills me out.

I listen to music when feeling down. There is always some song I can relate to.

When I'm mad I listen to music like you. Ialso go shopping alone. I can walk on the mall all day. Also go out with someone for caffe or drinks (just don't over do it) hehe

i try to just breathe and think of posotive things. music helps for a little bit but i usuallly end up screaming/crying. i cant keep it all boddled up inside, it just doesnt feel healthy. when im depressed and angry tend to make me react the same way.

Get away from whomever you are around. Go somewhere and be by yourself until you calm down. Anger can not only make you hurt someone else, but it can also kill you. Rage can actually make veins in your brain burst.

Managing your anger is a good thing but it can also be a bad thing. Walking your anger off is good instead of storing it .
If the music is what relaxes you then thats good.

Being I am in martial arts, I have all the tools I need if I'm ever wanting to "rage"...all sorts of bags, striking objects, boards, etc.

Also, I get behind my drum set and beat them silly. haha
