Does anyone know a good microwavable recipe?

I found one that calls for

1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
1 tsp. vanilla
1 egg
1 c. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. chocolate chips

but when it came out, it tasted really floury.

Try this no bake recipe

No-bake cookies

INGREDIENTS:
4 ounces butter or margarine
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
3 to 4 tablespoons peanut butter, optional
3 cups oats, quick or old-fashioned
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

PREPARATION:
Cover a baking sheet with wax paper
Place chocolate chips, peanut butter (if used), oats, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl. Combine the margarine, milk, and sugar in a saucepan; bring to a rolling boil. Boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Combine hot mixture with chocolote chip mixture and mix thoroughly.
Once mixture has cooled slightly, drop by large spoonfuls 2 inches apart onto baking sheet. Refrigerate cookies until set, about 30 minutes. Store in an airtight container.

Ok, try cutting the flour to 1/2 a cup. If you still can't get them to churn out, contact me for a recipe. Mine are tasty. You can use the oven int ehevening, or at night. Or in the afternoon, if you have the a/c on.

The microwave?! Culinary blasphemy!!! I don't know any recipes that could. I mean in theory of course you could, I suppose. Personally I just use an oven. Also, the ratio of butter to flour is a bit off I think. And the BBQ? Fantastic idea, I must try that.

Ew, don't microwave cookie dough. If you really don't want to turn on the oven, use the BBQ outside. Just put the cookies on the cookie sheet as normal, and cook as low as your BBQ goes.

you can bake in an electric skillet, it don't get as hot as an oven, just use the same temp the recipe calls for, make sure the lid is on tight.

Just bake them, it doesn't really matter. And then if it gets hot turn on a fan, go outside, etc. Cookies are good, enjoy them.
